Experience
In addition to studying at college and university for the last eight years, he has done a number
of full-time and part-time jobs and agency work. This has provided him with a wide range of
experience and practical skills.

a. Full-time positions
2008-2009 MissionCare as a laundry assistant in a care home. Duties included operating
industrial equipment. ironing and folding clothes and sorting out clothes for the different rooms.
Occasional painting and decorating. Meeting and speaking with residents.

2008 Horniman Museum Gardens as a security guard. Duties included meeting and greeting
the people and helping with the gardening.

b. Part time positions
2005-2006 McDonald’s as a restaurant assistant with experience in the handling of cash,
food preparation, cleaning and stock rotation.

2003-2004 Blockbusters as a customer sales representative responsible for cash handling,
organising library, customer service, stock rotation and closing the store.

2002-2003 Threshers Wine Shop as a sales assistant. Gained experience with cash handling,
customer service, stock rotation, inventory and closing the store.

c. Agency work
A wide range of experience in agency work over the last eight years during holidays
and between regular jobs. Experience has included putting up and taking down marquees
in Regent’s Park; setting up lighting rigs for events; events set-up at Battersea Park;
back-of-house and bar work for events run by At Your Service; and warehouse work for
Contraplan, TFL, Wavelength, Draycott and Britvic WIncanton.
